Connectix Cabling Systems has been a top-four supplier into the UK and Irish structured cabling market for many years and is now expanding into the Middle East.

To coincide with the last GITEX exhibition held in Dubai recently Connectix opened a sales and distribution office in Dubai to offer sales and support services to the growing Middle East markets.

Tariq Shaikh has been appointed as Regional Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region and is based in the Connectix Dubai office.

Tariq joins Connectix from Belden where he headed the Middle East and Africa sales and sales support teams.  His career includes more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing and key account management.  Tariq has worked on cabling projects in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, South Africa and the UAE.
