Cable & Wireless has won a five-year multi-million pound contract with Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA).  It will provide one of the UK’s leading insurance groups with a complete network outsource and a transformed hosted IP infrastructure, covering all aspects of its telecoms and network IT requirements until 2012.

Cable & Wireless will take full responsibility for delivering communications solutions to all R&SA UK sites.  Specific services that it will deliver as part of the outsource contract include voice, wide and local area IP networking, mobility, conferencing, contact centre services and managed security.
