CNet Training has become an official endorser of the EU code of conduct for data centres. The Code has been created by a stream of professionals from the worldwide data centre industry to academics and Government bodies. Realising the need for support within the data centre industry, they launched the Code to provide an independent and trusted portal to assist those within the data centre environment to reduce energy consumption and their carbon footprint. Andrew Stevens Managing Director of CNet Training said: “We’re delighted to be the first training provider to be involved with the development of this important standard. Especially as popularity of our data centre courses is souring, it seems natural to introduce the Code within all our programmes, especially the CDCD and CDCDP to help our delegates learn best practice from the outset.”
