Interxion gets security certification
Tuesday, 01 July 2008

Interxion has received the ISO 27001 certification for information security management systems for both its Netherlands data centres and its HQ Operations, which are located both in the Netherlands and at the company’s European Service (ESC) Centre in London.

The rigorous ISO 27001 audit and certification process is scheduled to continue across the remainder of Interxion locations during 2008.

“This ISO certification shows that physical and application security is at the heart of our business,” said Phil Collerton, Interxion EVP Operations. “We focused on achieving certification for our pan-European support capabilities, because we believe that this will result in greater overall integrity and simplicity for our customers. It effectively means that customers who want a multi-country relationship with us have access to consistently high standards of security and availability, no matter where their data or equipment is located.”
