Infinity Group, a property backed Data Centre services company, has commenced development on a major new project in East London. The 250,000 square foot facility is already 40% reserved and will be one of the most advanced facilities in the UK providing much needed extra data centre capacity in the London region. The Infinity Two site follows the same principles of operation and security as Infinity’s flagship project, Infinity One, which is aimed firmly at those demanding the highest availability and security in a dedicated UK data centre. Infinity Two offers clients dedicated plant and technical areas with the ability to select from up to 26 standard designs. Alternatively, Infinity’s experienced in-house design and engineering team offer bespoke solutions to meet the most exacting needs of clients such as those in the financial services sector. Martin Lynch, Chief Executive of Infinity said: “This major project will provide much needed high quality data centre space within an increasingly constrained market. Following the recent rapid take up of a similar facility in the London region, we anticipate moving from 40% reserved space to full reservation very quickly. As a company we are proud of our technical ability and are delighted to be leading the sector with a new generation of advanced facilities.”
