ISG awarded £75 million contract

ISG has been awarded a construction management contract to fit out a new, low energy data centre in the North East of England. ISG will be on site from September 2008 and it is anticipated that the project will take approximately 13 months.

Project completed

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services (P&DS) team has completed the base build monitoring and fit-out project management for GMAC-RFC’s offices and a data centre in Bracknell.  The 93,000 sq ft project was negotiated as a pre-let from the developer and incorporates a state of the art 5,000 sq ft data centre.

Helping to relocate

Global DataCenter Management is working with ProQuest, a Cambridge Information Group company, to support the company in the relocation of part of its data centre facilities. The company will move its production systems to a remote facility 500 miles from its current data operations centre and will implement GDCM’s nlyte solution to ensure continuous service and a successful transition of current and new data centre assets during and after the move.
