Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services (P&DS) team has completed the base build monitoring and fit-out project management for GMAC-RFC’s offices and a data centre in Bracknell. The 93,000 sq ft project was negotiated as a pre-let from the developer and incorporates a state of the art 5,000 sq ft data centre. Commenting on the project, Edward Gregg, associate director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services team said, “The total project duration was 72 weeks from site establishment and commencement of ground works to fit-out completion. The data centre was handed over to GMAC-RFC six weeks before project completion to allow equipment migration and testing to commence. The project initially started as an integrated solution where the P&DS and Tenant Representation teams worked together to establish the best deal for GMAC-RFC in order to conclude the acquisition and press ahead with simultaneous project management duties.”
