ZebraHosts, a North-east’s data centre and internet consultancy, has been amazed to discover that good IT support staff are not easy to come by in the region, even in today’s climate, and are considering looking further a field if the candidates don’t come forward. Director Annabel Cornish commented, “With high profile redundancies at companies like Northern Rock and Atmel we thought now would be an opportune time to increase our technical support and recruit good, skilled people from the North East.
“But response has been poor – so we’re asking where have they all gone?” The company is looking for experienced network and systems administrators to handle the increased demand for the company’s technical services – roles which, given the recent influx of skilled staff into the job market, are positions the team at ZebraHosts expected to fill quickly.
