Active Power has received an order from Star Technology Services for its modular containerised PowerHouse solution. One of the largest independent business to business (Internet service providers) in the United Kingdom, Star will install PowerHouse to provide its new mission critical data centre with energy efficient and reliable critical power protection. The power protection equipment is due to site by end of the year with the new facility expected to go live in spring 2009.
