C&D Technologies says all designated electrical and electronic equipment that C&D sells into the European Union are RoHS (European mandate on Removal of Hazardous Substances) compliant.

"We have succeeded in meeting the requirements of RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC by eliminating the use of banned substances in designated products sold into the European Union," said Dr. Jeffrey Graves, President and CEO of C&D Technologies. "As similar regulations are now being adopted in other geographies around the world, C&D is now offering customers world-wide RoHS compliant products that meet their specific needs and implementation timetables.
