EU code of conduct signed

TelecityGroup is the first network independent provider to sign up to the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres. The EU Code of Conduct is a European-wide voluntary initiative, developed in collaboration with the industry, which promotes energy efficiency performance standards for data centres. Signatories are expected to implement the Code’s best practice - for example, decommission old servers, reduce the amount of air conditioning used or maximise server usage by running multiple applications – and will be assessed on an annual report of energy consumption. < Prev   Next >
